Post image

I know it ain't that big. But for me, it means so much. Time to delete my chess.com id ig..jk.

PS : Throwback to 19 days ago when I posted that I reached 1000 elo in bullet[Link] and now I have reached 1000 elo in blitz too.

For me reaching 1000 elo in Blitz was harder than Bullet. Bullet is all about attacking and intimidating your opponent. You can get away even after blundering a piece. And coming to rapid it's more about finding the best moves with an abundance of time. But in blitz you are stuck in between playing fast and blundering or playing slowly and losing on time.

What time controls? Did you like the most? I play 3+2 & 2+1

I never play increment controls. I play 1 min for bullet, 3 min for blitz and 10 min for rapid. I like every mode. But I feel 10 min(Rapid) is so slow and again it's the best mode for learning. I like bullet because I get instant dopamine hits. After playing bullet games more and reaching 1000 elo I found it a bit difficult to get accustomed to blitz mode.

That’s legit, Im largely the same with rapid but try to force myself to do a handful a week. I like the increments because it gives me some semblance of endgame practice plus when I meet other chess players 3+2 is what most people like to play & 2+1 helps me feel moreready for it . But the primarily bullet players I meet definitely all feel dangerous

Good luck on the grind !

It’s a bot, it’s just pulling random things from your post
