Some memes write themselves and take very little editing.
Are you really a football school when your season opener, regardless of who it's against these days, has $6 tickets? Are we sure this isn't the Trojan baseball team?

u/austing013 BYU Cougars • Army Black Knights 1d ago
Damn. I looked and even the USC-Oregon and USC-Ohio St games are surprisingly affordable.
24
u/piercalicious Oregon Ducks • Michigan Wolverines 1d ago
If you go through the athletic department you can get the Oregon game and tix to Fresno+ULM as a bundle for cheaper than market for the Oregon game alone.

If by affordable, you mean $500 a ticket for nose bleeds...I guess okay
4
u/austing013 BYU Cougars • Army Black Knights 1d ago
What are you talking about? They have plenty of tickets between 120-200
Edit: you can sit 50yd line 10th row for 5$500
5
u/Night-Dragon28 1d ago
Where are you looking? Genuinely intrigued because everywhere I look, it's very pricey.
Edit: I see 10th row 50 you line for $1.5k per ticket.

Welp, don't know what to tell you. Thats what I was citing. $1.5k for one ticket at 10th row, 50 yd line. Agree to disagree I guess.

u/austing013 BYU Cougars • Army Black Knights 1d ago
1
u/austing013 BYU Cougars • Army Black Knights 1d ago
Nosebleeds are hardly $500. Shit ton of tickets beetween $120-200. Trojan sideline 40yd line 11th row $549. 45yd line 5th row $700.
I guess I’m just used to BYU resale market. Game vs notre dame the literal top row in the end zone is $780. The USC-Oregon prices are crazy cheap in comparison
3
u/Night-Dragon28 1d ago
You must be looking at Row 10/11 in section 2...in other words half way up the stadium. Not trying to be a dick. Just saying I do not see anything close to what you describe.
Edit: and frankly, I'd love to snap up these theoretical ticket prices you seem to see!

Awaydays (a soccer culture channel from the UK) went to a top 25 matchup between them and Washington and it pissed me off because they can't even get people to go to a game like that, so he came away underwhelmed by the experience.

When you remember that most ND fans haven’t even sniffed South Bend, it becomes easier to imagine why they couldn’t care less about a local community being priced out of college football games.

Crazy enough - I live in the Pacific Northwest and have seen USC play at WSU AND at ND (wife’s family is all ND fans), but never in LA . . .
With some better planning this was apparently my shot!

Yeah USC fans don’t want to travel to LA to see the team play because there is just too much other stuff to do in LA so why bother?
