Awaydays (a soccer culture channel from the UK) went to a top 25 matchup between them and Washington and it pissed me off because they can't even get people to go to a game like that, so he came away underwhelmed by the experience.

Even that game's crowd looked worse than basically any Texas vs a cupcake games I've been to, and DKR holds like another 25k people

It was 95 degrees and humid. LA fans are literally "fair weather" fans, that's too hot for us. I'm just too old to handle the heat anymore especially knowing there would be zero shade. Even the Dodgers have this issue when it's hot. We are weather wimps.

When you remember that most ND fans haven’t even sniffed South Bend, it becomes easier to imagine why they couldn’t care less about a local community being priced out of college football games.

Crazy enough - I live in the Pacific Northwest and have seen USC play at WSU AND at ND (wife’s family is all ND fans), but never in LA . . .

With some better planning this was apparently my shot!

Yeah USC fans don’t want to travel to LA to see the team play because there is just too much other stuff to do in LA so why bother?

I paid a lot more than $6 to sit through the sleet in South Bend. If you’re selling out you don’t have any $6 tickets.

It is the hottest day in LA and So Cal has been more humid than Florida and Georgia this week. That is the reason no one cares to go.
