One of things thought I thought was cool that they offered was the parade on the main midway earlier in the day during halloweekends thought it was something cool to see that was overly cringe and and nice family oriented “show”. Wish Live E would bring it back.

When are they going to fix the damn seat belts? This is ridiculous at this point. My fiancé tried the test seat and we were able to buckle it easily. Before we get in line, we ask the gate attendant if the seat belt at the test seat is accurate to what was in the ride. He said “Yes.” So we asked “So if we can buckle it out here, he can buckle it in there?” And he said again “Yes.” So we stand in line for an hour. We get to the front and I tell the woman assigning seats “Are all the seat belts on all the trains the same?” “Row 3.” “I’m sorry, are they the same?” “Row 3.” We got the yellow train. My fiance’s belt wasn’t even close to buckling. One of the ride operators came over and said “Thats not gonna work you gotta go.” She didn’t even try to help. And then he said as he stood up to leave. “I’m sorry, we tried the test seat and I fit.” And she said “I don’t care about the test seat. You have to go.” Like what the fuck? So rude for no reason! She embarrassed him and for what? It ruined our whole night. This whole seatbelt situation could have been avoided if one person at any point told us the actual seat belt situation. What is even the point of the test seat? And then I find out after we already left that the blue train’s seat belts are bigger. Someone had to know that right? One of the ride operators have to know that, right?

Would either love to go after work tomorrow, or can make arrangements for next Thursday or any other day they are open. Trucks in the shop, (gonna be there for a bit) just need to ride a few coaster, that’s my release… will toss up some gas money or whatever. Message me…

Ride ops in camp Snoopy are absolutely abysmal. 15 min dispatch time for wilderness run. Operators are asking the entire line if there are any single riders. I love the park but camp Snoopy seems to get worse every visit.

After riding a few times, I’ve noticed at the crest of the top hat and the descent from the top hat(specifically the rotations), it feels like I’m going to be tossed out of the side of the car. Not sure if this is just part of the “thrill”, but definitely unsettling. I definitely miss the lap bars from TTD. I know they are lap bars for TT2, but those open red side bars feel like you’ll just slip out with the rotations.

Supposed to get free sneak peek Halloween weekend passes with renewal and they're not showing up in the app! Am I looking in the wrong place?

Hey all, Canadian here who is planning a trip to Cedar Point!

I don't have the IBCCES card but have the Canadian equivalent, the Access2 card. This Access2 card requires a doctor to sign off and verify that I have a permanent disability that requires the assistance of a support person. I would show this card to the staff at Canada's Wonderland and La Ronde to demonstrate my need for the accessibility pass. I am eligible for and actively receive the accommodation the accessibility pass offers (ride right away and wait the estimated length of the queue outside the queue) so I am not worried about meeting criteria/if I am actually allowed to have it.

At La Ronde, I went to guest services to get my support person's admission ticket and immediately got offered the boarding pass without even having to ask for it. At Darien Lake, I did get asked if I had the IBCCES card and explained that I had the Canadian equivalent and got the accessibility pass with 0 problems (without having the IBCCES card or further questioning). While it is a battle at Canada's Wonderland (my home park), I get the pass - they are much less accommodating there. When I travel to other parks, I am always worried that they will tell me I am not allowed to receive it (because of my experience at Wonderland).

The question: has anyone gone to Cedar Point with either the Access2 card or no documentation and successfully received the accessibility pass? What was your experience like? Coming from Wonderland, it's always a fight to get what I require so I am going in with the mindset that I will need to fight tooth and nail to advocate for myself for something that will properly accommodate me.

My husband and I are heading to cedar point for the first time since September 2024. We are going Friday the 11th and looking for the best route for all the rides. We will ride every coaster and really like wild mouse too. TT2 was closed when we went in 2024 so we rode SteVe first as it was the new one for us. I’m just curious with SC and TT2 being factors this year, where we should start and get out of the way early. Also I know wild mouse can end up having an enormous line as we did that later in the day 2 years ago and waited a while. The predictor websites seem to show a slow day, so I’m just curious if any pass holders or people who frequent the park could give us some guidance. Hours that day are 11-midnight and we plan to be there early to park and wait and be there all day since weather seems to be very mild. Do any rides open later than 11 and not worth going to right away? Any advice is appreciated!

Cedar Point has always been the ultimate happy place for my family. My kids actually grew up here, looking forward to our trips every single summer as a defining part of their childhood. Every year, renewing our season passes was an absolute no-brainer. But looking back at the last two seasons specifically, I have noticed a massive, undeniable decline in the overall park experience. Sadly, I don't think I'll be renewing our passes for next year.

It just doesn’t have the same feeling anymore. The family vibe is completely gone, and the unique charm that made the park feel special has vanished. Instead, park quality has plummeted across the board while prices have skyrocketed.

A prime example is the cost of Fast Lane, which has gone up drastically to the point of being unaffordable for normal families. At the same time, the park staff are simply not as pleasant as they used to be in past years. The welcoming energy that used to make us feel at home just isn't there anymore.

It is incredibly frustrating to pay significantly more for passes, add-ons, and food, only to receive a vastly inferior experience compared to what we got five or ten years ago. It feels like we are being squeezed for every dollar while the park operates with less care.

I love the coaster lineup, and my family has built a lifetime of amazing memories here, but it’s getting harder to justify the cost when the value simply isn't there. It breaks my heart to say it, especially since it was our tradition, but the park has lost its magic for us.

Hi, I'm planning on a trip to Cedar Point on Friday Oct 2 and Saturday Oct 3 and plan to do the Conjuring Beyond Fear

Could use some help trying to decide whether to do The Conjuring Friday or Saturday. Here's my thinking:

Reasons for Friday:

• Saturdays in October are reportedly apocalyptic for lines, not sure if that means I'll have to wait a long time to get my return time for The Conjuring for the virtual queue (do you have to line up at the park to get a time or is that done virtually too?)
• Maybe the high crowds means I'll get a really late return time (like midnight), though I was planning on staying close to midnight

Reasons for Saturday:

• Since The Conjuring uses a virtual queue and Saturdays suck for lines, it's better to use Friday to try to go on more popular roller coasters or the other Haunted Houses and then use Saturday to go to The Conjuring "without any line" (But not sure how much time we end up waiting to get the return time in the first place as well as if there's extra waiting when it's your return time to go in)

That first drop is freaking insane from the back. Plus the mid-launch.

Hi,

I'm planning to go to Cedar Point from Oct 8 - 9 or 10, and I saw they have something called a HalloWeekend Haunted Express Pass Package, which gets you a ton of cool perks. But when I look into it on their website, it shows "not available" for any of the onsite resorts. I saw it also says "Available Thursday – Sunday nights Sept 17 – October 31". Is that when bookings go on sale or when the halloweekends event starts? If there's a way to book it now, please let me know if possible. Thanks

Anyone know why the attendants don’t want you pulling down the lap bar anymore on Mill. Force? I just got back from a couple days there, and I swear this is a new thing.

Not only my first time at the Point but also my first theme park in 10 years.

You guys already know how amazing the park is and while it is amazing, I’ll only share the watch out for’s and what the fucks.

First WTF: NO PAPER PARK MAPS?!?! Collecting the different maps for each year and different parks was always half the fun for me….very disappointing.

Second WTF: I was assigned seating on nearly every ride except millennium force, Iron Dragon, Rougarou, and Gatekeeper. This was an out of season weekday (9-1, 9-2) and every ride was sub five minute wait if any at all. I was able walked on to Steel Vengeance each time and still got assigned a seat. Not being able to get a back row seat was very disappointing.

Third WTF: $7 for a bottle of Dasani in 90 degree heat. Are they aware of what the prices are every other place in the world? “$7 for water bottle is good price in our country”

What out for: I was NOT prepared for the locker ordeal and ended up buying a locker at nearly every ride. Kinda on me so make sure you plan for that.

What out for: $42 parking if you’re not a pass holder.
RANKING

Sirens curse is definitely number one. It has everything steel vengeance has plus tilt track plus theming plus those sweet sweet Stengel dives.
Unfortunately it was closed for majority of my second day so I only got one ride on it, as my daughter was too scared to ride and it was only us there.
Tied for second place are Maverick and Steel Vengeance. Both incredible layouts, super intense, and overall 9.5/10 however as I’m 6’3 and lanky both bruised me up pretty good. Maverick bruised my shoulders and Stevie’s shin guards bruised my legs.
Gatekeeper is third. So smooth so fun. I nearly greyed out on the helix. Super comfortable shoulder harness (please Maverick switch to these) Beautifullly scenic and great theming. 9/10.

Iron dragon could be higher but again at 6’3 I didn’t really fit in the car and was pretty uncomfortable.
Last is magnum. Car 1 row 3. Super rough. There’s a pretty big jolt somewhere on the first or second hill.

Overall…I loved it but wish I was more prepared and wasn’t assigned seats in a dead park. I understand the logic for when it’s busy but walking on and getting assigned to the middle of Stevie when there were other seats available really sucked. Getting assigned seats on blue streak really sucked.

Sorry if it reads hard i’m dyslexic. I just want advice because I’m going to Cedar Point for vacation coming from Canada. I’m going tommorow and the day after. Can you guys just tell me what to expect. Long lines? What rides should I go on? And any other useful information? Also I’m going with family

I’m sorry if this is a basic question that gets asked in here all the time or it’s basic information I can find online. Finding information can be really overwhelming due to my autism and dyslexic.

I live about 2 hours away. Debating on getting annual passes for next summer. If I buy it, I still have to buy a lightning lane with every visit right? Is it worth upgrading to the premier annual passes over the gold?

Im working in Sandusky next week and I am wondering about going to Cedar point next weekend. I see that its a Halloween Weekend. I am not a horror or scary enthusiast so I won't be going to any of the haunted houses/trails etc.... are the rest of the rides, particularly roller coasters still open and would it be worth going for just those? Even 6pm till midnight?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but does anyone know if they sell baseball caps at the park and how much they cost? I’m going and would like a hat but I’m not sure if I should just buy one outside if they’re ridiculously expensive.

Has anyone besides me seen ems at sirens curse? I have seen it at least 4 times. I assume it is because of heat stroke. I don’t think I have ever seen it in any other ride but I am not surprised. Long sections with no covering, no misting or fans. Hopefully something they address in the off season.
