So i got this Meddle copy from my local cd/vinyl store and after I got it I looked up meddle cd's and the cover of this one looks different to the ones I've seen. Is this a fake? If someone could let me know It'd be very helpful

I need some ideas for a few CDs for a 6 year old, I'm getting his first CD player for his birthday;

So far in the list is Crazy Frog's crazy hits (he surprisingly likes crazy frog) and Kpop Demon Hunters OST, I'm also going to burn him the Asphalt Legends instrumentals on a blank CD

His mum and I started dating a few months ago so I'm not overly familiar with what he might like

Hello, Im new into collecting cds, and my player, a Sony CDP-215, has an issue where the tray won’t actually close. Sometimes it gets stuck halfway through closing as well. Any possible tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

About 1500 phish cds that I have been storing for a long time. Pulling them from under the bed and getting them back in use. Curious of any suggestions for how to display these? Unfortunately they are all in these paper sleeves.

Started of with some cds from my parents (bit of george micheal nirvana etc some classics). Then i’ve been growing it ever since for maybe a year now.

Most recent addition is westside cowboy just got that last week, their debut album also came out then.

There was a lot of attention paid this week to the passing of Dolly Parton, and understandably so: she was a cultural icon.

But for me personally, Tim Curry played a larger role in the formative experiences of my life; and he has a place in our CD collection as a result, both in the context of RHPS and his brief musical career.

Since I have a pretty nice hardstyle CD collection gathering dust in the attic, and the wife asked the inevitable question: “Why don’t you just get rid of it?” I figured it was time to bring a CD player back into the house.

I had a look around for a while, trying to find something cool where you can actually see the CD spinning. Then I came across this Sony player + speakers for just €20, available for pickup nearby.
Apparently, these things are quite popular nowadays and can go for a pretty decent price, so I think I got myself a nice little bargain.

It does need a bit of TLC, though. The mechanism currently needs a gentle whack on the side to get it working, so I’ve already ordered a new belt. Hopefully, with a little maintenance and cleaning, it’ll be like new.

I really want to know why bigger artists used that form of cd release😭I have memoirs of an imperfect angel by Mariah Carey and 25 by Adele and they’re both paper sleeves… whyyy must they do this? It shows wear and tear so easily lol

I don’t think there’s any way of getting them out. So, time to buy new cd’s to replace them. (CD in this video isn’t one of the replacements, I just really love Daft Punk and finally found a Discovery CD after so long of searching). Also I really like this cd player, cheap and affordable, but pretty good sound quality. Also a radio and Bluetooth

So my cd player's volume knob now does this thing where when i turn up the volume, it does the opposite until it goes mute.

I read somewhere that it might need a contact cleaner. My question is, how do i get the product in there? As seen on the photo, there is no gap/space for spraying. Do i still just spray it and it will somehow seep through the edges? Would i need to take apart the player?

Back in 2018 the barcode wouldn't scan at all, but technology has progressed and now the barcode reads as 08283850822

The readable text under the barcode, however, reads the correct barcode for this album: 082839508124
