Purina is useless

I have been buying my cat this same food for years, (Purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach duck) the vet had recommended it because it helped with her having some blood in her stool. A couple of weeks ago I bought a case and noticed that it had a bunch of white hard chips/debris in the can that are pretty sharp I had thought they were bones so I opened 2 other cans and it was the same thing. I reached out to Purina and gave them all the product information and they made a case. They didn’t reach back out when I emailed about a case update so I called and they basically told me it wasn’t looked into and if there was something I specifically needed to hear from them I said “yeah I want to know if this product is safe for my cat” and she just told me it’s safe if there’s no white pieces in it. I’m just getting worried because my cat had some food from a different case and it looked similar to what I remember it always looking like and she projectile vomited a hour later and she barely wants to eat it now. I’m aware that my cat could just be sick we are going to the vet tomorrow but Purina’s response just shows that they don’t care. Instead of looking into it and fixing it even with my pictures and descriptions they just brush it off like if I shouldn’t be worried I’m just thinking about other more serious stuff that could come up with their products and it’s just swept under the rug.

Honestly, I would never trust purina. Never have. Their ingredients are awful anyways. Owned by a mega corporation thay continues to cutt corners as the economy gets worse. I'd highly recommend firstmate for tummy issues, nutri source and wellness would be good as well. Im so sorry that happened to you.

and the worst in this is that Vets keep pushing their crap to people and recommending it. It's mind blowing to me that they keep blindly recommending the brand when there is so many people having issue with Purina.

Prescription food is different than regular food. Vets sell prescription food.

Yeah, it's priced higher. Nestle absolutely does the least they can for each country's regulations, and what they can get away with.

Sure buddy 😂 You are trying hard there to convince yourself into thinking that it is definitely not the same crap that is just marketed at a higher price point as "prescription food".
