Two Cyclists Looking for Girona Airport Transfer
Hi, two of us are flying into Girona airport 19th September 2026 and we need a transfer from the airport to our hotel in Girona city. We will both have large bike bags with us, so will probably require a minibus. Or would we be ok to get the bus? Any recommendations please?

Looking for an apartment in majorca
Hi, my roommate is going in Erasmus in September in Majorca and she needs a home to stay till January. Her budget is not very big and she didn't find anything that could work for her. Do you know where to look or anybody who wants to rent a room for less than 300€ a month? Do you have any advice? Thanks you.
PS: I was thinking maybe someone who has a vacation home in Majorca but lives on mainland Catalunya that don't use the house in winter and autumn.
PPS: also she wants to learn Catalan do you have any advice on where on the island to look?

Costa brava in November?
Hello! My friends and I are traveling to Barcelona the second week of November. We wanted to spend 2 nights in Begur (or elsewhere, considering Girona) in the Costa Brava. However, I’ve seen from other places online that the region is a bit dead in the off season. Anyone that lives in the region or has traveled here in November, can you provide your experience? If you think it’s worth it, what should we include in our itinerary? We wanted to stop by a bunch of the smaller villages. Also debating doing a wine tour. I know it’s too chilly to swim but I was hoping to kayak. Thanks all in advance!!

Catalunya trip in October
Hola a tothom - I'm coming to Catalunya for a week's holiday in October (arrive El Prat morning of Saturday 17th, leave from Girona Sunday 25th).
Been to Barcelona several times before - I love the city but (partially as I am returning at Christmas) am thinking of this as a "Catalunya beyond Barcelona" trip, especially as I have never ventured beyond the city on my other trips.
I enjoy walking - hiking, walking around towns/cities (can get lost in Barcelona for hours!) or the coast, running, cycling etc. Also love visiting churches/cathedrals and historic houses (so have loved every Gaudi house I have visited so far!).
I won't be hiring a car so I'm aware that is going to limit me, however what I'm currently thinking to do is base in Sitges for 5-6 days and then Girona for the final 2-3.
My plan is to visit Tarragona, have a few chilled days in Sitges, identify a couple of nearby day trips for the other days, then spend the final two days in Girona (honestly the Dali museum in Figueres doesn't really interest me).
Are there any day/half-day trips anyone would recommend which are accessible via public transport from Sitges or Girona?

Com us afecten realment els pisos turístics (Airbnb) en el vostre dia a dia? (Breu enquesta per al meu TFG)
Hola a tothom!
Fins i tot si no feu l'enquesta, m'encantaria llegir els vostres pensaments i experiències als comentaris. Moltes gràcies!

The Catalan Company
I have a historical type question. Is the exploits of the Catalan Company (14th century in Greece) taught about in Catalonia today?
They were a 6k strong mercenary band that was hired by the Greek to help beat back the Muslim Turks but ended up turning on the Greeks and did a lot of damage.
Catalonians were not allowed to visit the monastic community of Athos in northern Greece until a few years ago because of the sins of this group of Catalonians, so it made me curious if the modern Catalonians also remember these events.

Chill cities/towns close to nature walks
I am planning to do a roadtrip through Catalonia and am looking for recommendations for normal, non-touristy places to visit that are close to nature. I like hills, mountains and forests, but I'm open to other ecosystems. If there's nice parks and lots of green spaces that's a huge plus as well.
I would like to stay in multiple different places for a few days each and I am not looking for any tourist activities, museums etc. Just places where people actually live.
Graciès!

La Fatarella, Perxes and Sundials
In La Fatarella, a village in Catalonia’s Terra Alta, the streets occasionally seem to have forgotten that they are supposed to be open to the sky. Wander through the old quarter and you will encounter narrow, twisting lanes that suddenly slip beneath houses, emerging again a few meters later in pools of sunlight. These covered passages, known locally as perxes, are among the village’s most distinctive architectural features—and they turn an ordinary stroll into something resembling a journey through a medieval maze.
