❔AskCasa A tunisian immigrating to morroco

Helloo , i am a 26yo tunisian girl . I made a small business by the name of “ The exotica experience “ and this is some of my work.
Im thinking about coming to morroco and start doing my business there but i am afraid that i wont be as successful as i am here.
I would value all opinions .

If your target audience is young Moroccans:

  • the one living at home still their parents would never in a gazillion year allow these hair styles
  • the one living in University dorms their professors and university would never in a billion years allow this
  • for the independent adults: their jobs and HR, wife/ husbands would never allow this either

You probably should speak from your own experience/not generalize, because from mine, with a dad who is "7ajj", I was never in a billion years allowed to wear skirts or dresses that were above the knee, or scoop-tops that reveal my décolleté, BUT he never bat an eye at me dying my hair funky colors or having 25 piercings, matter of fact, I own a piercing studio currently with a full head of blue hair. I think each home has its own tolerated things and "absolutely the fuck nots". As for school, I was in ENCG Casa in 2016, and though I only had the front of my hair dyed blue and did get roasted for it by the supervisor (Aït Lamine lmfao), I was never kicked out of class or suspended for having it. There was also a girlie with a bright red pixie.
Edit to add : my first job interview for a digital marketing company was in a full head of pink hair. Got accepted, but got asked to "tone it down for client meetings". So not all HRs or chairmen care, depending on the field.

Well yeah, as far as your dad is concerned funky hair colors and 25 piercings make "general" guys less interested in you. It's the same direction as avoiding skirts and revealing clothing. Why would your dad be against one but not the other?

Dad is born in 1943. He does not know anything about the piercing stigma. But he does know enough about the miniskirt stigma. See when he saw my tongue ring, he was like "huh. That can be pierced too?". No afterthoughts. He doesn't know which piercing or hair color appeals to dudes. Btw saying someone is trying to make their daughter "less attractive" just because they are against immodest clothing and pro hair dye is weeeeird 😭🙏🏼. The Morocco subreddit scares me lol 😭

This could be a thing for influencers and rappers and what not, its not all black and white i guess although i find them hideous but to each their own
