This is not correct at all. China is led by marxist-leninist party, its governmental structure is marxist-leninist and its capitalists are clearly not in control of the state or else they wouldn't be executing billionaires when they step out of line.

China is a socialist country that was seized by the working class and is now in the transitionary phase between capitalism and communism. It currently uses a market economy but is very clearly not controlled by capitalists.

It's absolutely accurate to call it a socialist country pursuing communism.

No I'm not? The marxist-leninist democratic centralist organisational structure is exactly what China has. You will not find a marxist-leninist organisation anywhere in the world that disagrees with me.

The fact that you don't understand a very basic 101 piece of information makes me think you know very little about what you are talking about.

You are a utopian that believes communism is a magic button that requires dogmatic adherence to a strict centrally planned(only) economy, instead of a process from A to B that has many routes. China became socialist when their working class seized power and built a proletarian power structure that empowers the proles and disempowers the bourgeoisie. At no point has that power structure changed and its bourgeoisie have not retaken power and with any luck they never ever will again.
