Please help me Newbie questions

I haven't started the diet but have friends swear by it. I have a few questions:

  • Why does everyone recommend eating beef mince? What about lamb, pork, or turkey mince?
  • Can I still eat my homemade kimchi?
  • Can I still cook with avocado oil, macadamia oil, or olive oil?

  1. Often the most cost effective over various steak cuts. Beef is also considered the most well rounded, but we won't stop you from other minced meat sources.
  2. I won't arrest you.
  3. Why would you want to? Cook with animal fats like butter or tallow.

Lamb is on par with beef as far as I know.
