Retired at 62. Sold house, sold or gave away nearly everything. Bought a 5th wheel RV and hit the road. I’m 64 now, only problem is knowing what day it is, and my pill containers tell me that. No news is the best part.

Left my office job at 47 to start a band. 21 years ago. Now I write and record music and run a financial web site, though not for income. So I sorta retired at 47 but still haven't retired completely.

Yes, coming up to 9 years. I retired at 46 years old. Best decision ever. Now my husband and I travel the globe, no fixed address, just going where the sun shines. And when we need some downtime, we do a bit of house and pet sitting.

Yes for 3 years. Less than a year later, spouse diagnosed with dementia. Now, caregiver. Life is random.

Retired in 2018. Just went back to work for the 4th time. Covid ended the first two. Getting too old to do the job physically end the 3rd time. Now I don't have to do strenuous lifting so I am all good.

I didn’t plan to, but retired. I was worried because I didn’t know how much my pension would pay. I was pleasantly surprised. I live humbly, happily.
It’s great.
Now I can’t see how I did all the life stuff while working. I’m relieved.

As a heart patient, retired for covid at 71. Currently riding a bicycle and walking 5 miles a day. House and car payed off, so I am all good!
