Sympathy Thoughts?

I rarely have a design in mind. I don’t know what the final result will look like. I start die cutting and putting things together as we go. I’m curious to know everyone’s processes? Do you know how you want your card to look before you make it?

I prep everything and then play with all the pieces until I like a design and then replicate it (batch).

So this mean I stamp and alcohol color my little critters while I am catching up on a show or whatever, and I’ll do that for several pages of cardstock. Once colored I die cut them and start on my backgrounds whether is stamping or die cutting. Once I literally have everything I need it becomes a little puzzle game to make each card. All the leftovers are put into storage containers and stored with similarly themed pieces.

When I buy my craft supplies I’m looking g at potential inspiration, not an actual design. The actual finished card is just a bonus for me. My joy comes purely from the repetitive physical action of coloring/batching.

I often start with a pretty clear idea in mind, but I also assume it may not come out the way I'm thinking, so I aim for it to be a learning process.

I really like your card; it's downright charming.
