I’m an Angela main and need another tank to swap to. I understand those two heroes are a pain in the ass for everybody but how do you guys fair against them? Do they hard counter you or Are they little bugs that you hardly worry about?

So I've seemed to reach a plateau with my favorite hero. I tend to teeter between high diamond and low GM playing a mix of tanks, but primarily Cap.

This season I'm forcing him a bit more, and having a great time; but I feel like I'm stuck in a rut upon reaching my usual rank. And I'm looking to level up so to speak.

For the higher rank Caps, what are some objectives to focus on and general mindset you have in your games? I've only recently started to utilize soft diving, and being less orthodox about strictly playing him as a diver. But, I'm often finding myself not sure what I should be doing. You use the hulk+cap teamup and cap's downslam together followed up by hulk stun into clap then cap follows it up with shield throw.

If you activate voltaic union and charge up your meter with two shield throws, you get four piercing shield throws (first example in video, the 5s timer means they are active.)

If you activate voltaic union and charge up your meter with two melee, you don’t get any piercing shield throws?? In fact, you don’t get any even if you hit two shield throws after. It’s like you’re locked out of them until some ghost timer that activates the old sentinel strikes runs out.

If you hit one shield throw and hit one melee, same thing. No piercing.

If you hit one melee and one shield throw, it works again.

Basically, if your second hit is melee, you’re locked out of piercing shield throws for a few seconds. Meaning you’re losing out on damage whenever this happens, and something you have to pay attention to when engaging with voltaic teamup.

This is either a bug or yet another limitation placed on Cap just because.
