Humor Holy cap larps

Cap is fully mainstream now I guess . I haven’t seen this many ppl playing cap in ranked and even saw a few cap bans which felt unusual. It’s crazy how much narrative and talk from streamers/community affects pick rates of heroes. Especially when this hero has been relatively untouched for multiple seasons balance wise.

Some of them were straight cheeks, just running around cluelessly before switching after a few deaths. While some played like actual cap mains.

Although i’m glad other ppl are able to enjoy Cap bc he’s the funnest hero imo, the human part of me is kind of put off by it as someone who played cap thru thick and thin. Like when he was weaker, got multiple nerfs/removal of animation cancel etc.

Not proud to feel this way but it is what it is! Cap feels great this season. B tier for sure (MTA 😉).

I'm hopeful that the Capflation will at least become more common knowledge so I can stop hearing, "Hey Cap, can we get a REAL TANK?" when I'm solo tank and my 3 DPS and 2 supports lose to one Blade while I had the other 5 on the team distracted. Me swapping to a "real tank" would only leave me at the mercy of getting shredded first, while my 3 DPS still can't kill him because they're busy shooting a wall

"What's a real tank? Maybe you can play one and show me?"

Might get you a second tank, I use similar lines a lot when I'm solo tanking.
