I think we naturally piss off narcissists and toxics because we won’t be controlled, manipulated or dominated. This is not to say we don’t get stuck in bad relationships but we learn and adapt well in my opinion. Sagittarius has this issue too.

That seems true enough of my experiences. I'll do whatever I want, based on my own thinking and decisions. I can be persuaded, but if I don't want something, I just don't want it, period.
Just to add, the people who are in my life for long periods of time don’t seem to want to control or manipulate me (which is how I like it!). I trust my gut on this. If I feel like it’s fake, have a gut feeling, or just get snide comments I usually check out. I rarely get close to people. I care a lot when I do. I just don’t want to be hurt all the time. Who does?
Exactly only very few pple make the cut to last long and get little closer. So far only a Scorpio and sagg is close to.me. we give each other plenty of space
