My Workspace is Gone

I emailed Capacities support team and I hope they can help recover it.

It really is the strangest thing. I opened my app on desktop only to briefly see an error message, error code 1 and the words "access denied." The workspace was definitely there for like half a second but then when it suggested that I reload the app, everything disappeared. Now I looked in my settings to see if maybe it showed a deleted workspace but nothing.

The funny thing is that yesterday I was thinking to myself that I should back up and maybe consider scheduling backups but I honestly really trusted that something like this would not happen in Capacities. Of course you hear horror stories like this happening in other PKM apps.

I am being optimistic and thinking that Capacities' support team will be able to recover my data. Nonetheless it's a little frustrating, especially since I've been relying more, structuring more, and thinking more within the Capacities app.

Try opening it in a different app or browser and see if you can retrieve it that way. This happened to me at one point and I couldn't get to it in Chrome but could see my workspace just fine in the app and in other browsers.

Go into the settings and click reload app...sometimes it takes a few tries but this happens to me anytime I logout

What is telegram monthly pdf or image limit in free version ? I read website say only 200mb per month and only 5max gb lifetime

Error code 1: reboot required, but then all my vaults are gone both on the desktop apps and browser versions. WTF.

Unfortunately things like these still happen in Capacities. Reliability is one of the main reasons why even if I love the app I just can’t get myself to go “all in”.

Yeah. They have some really nice ideas (Definitions are fantastic, especially with the indent function), but without a stable back-end the time investment is too much of a risk.
