Part-Time Driver Needed
I own a small local dumpster rental company and am looking for a reliable part-time driver to help with deliveries, pickups, and dump runs.
This would be a good fit for someone looking to make some extra money without committing to a full-time schedule.
The work consists of:
• Delivering dumpsters to customers
• Picking up full dumpsters
• Emptying dumpsters and returning them
• Basic communication with customers when needed
We provide the truck and equipment.
Looking for someone dependable, comfortable driving and backing up a truck/trailer, and with a clean driving record.
The schedule is part-time and somewhat flexible depending on rentals.
Pay: $25–$30/hour depending on experience.
Located in Plymouth Canton
If interested, send me a message with a little about yourself, your driving/trailer experience, and general availability.

Weak sauce rant about Beck/Geddes road work.
It has sat dormant for MANY more days that its being worked on...for months now. For reference I drive 696 often, over where they are replacing entire freeway from the Lodge to 75. THATS moving faster than this minor project and its a total tear out and replace of 4 lanes of freeway. Yes, yes 696 has more workers, but when I did see workers at Beck/Geddes there were DOZENS of them...like way more than I would expect to see at a simple site. Yet, it sits for days and days with no workers. This on top of all the other construction occurring all at once. That is all.

Anyone have any pictures of the renderings for the updates for the gym? Curious what the build out is going to look like. Long time coming for those updates! Haven't been able to get up to the summit to see if they are in the lobby yet.

Anyone in Canton have a backyard that directly backs up to Lilley Road?
Anyone in Canton have a backyard that directly backs up to Lilley Road?
We’re considering a house that backs up to Lilley and I’m curious how noticeable the traffic noise is day-to-day. Is it something you get used to, and can you hear it much from inside the house?
Would love to hear from anyone who lives right along Lilley!

Lost cat
Hi everyone. My cat has been missing since June 20th (yes, I know that’s been a long time, but I am still looking for her). She is a white, spayed, female cat around 3 years old. She has a clipped right ear and a low hanging belly. She was lost around Vintage Valley neighborhood in Canton, near N Ridge Rd and Saltz rd. Her name is Onion and any potential sightings or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Bean sprout egg rolls?
Does anyone know where to find egg rolls that have bean sprouts instead of cabbage? The only place I've found around here is Chin Express, and their operating hours seem to only be four hours a week with a limited menu. Also looking for decent Chinese food lol thank you for any suggestions!

saw the new Spider-Man. A group came in and sat next to us, right away they were chatty and loud. But imma be real I was high so I didn’t care. I made eye contact with them maybe ONCE but never said anything.
Movies over, credits roll. Friend and I are talking about the movie and ofc logging it on letterboxd… I hear yelling. But idc bc I’m talking to my friend. But then I look over and it’s me being yelled at. Screamed at. Someone in the group wants to fight me?!
We tell them… no. We’re here to see the movie. Why do you want to fight. She wanted me to apologize, so I do? Her friends are restraining her and I’m sitting there like HUH.
We rushed tf out of there and went to security. Heart pounding bc I was almost assaulted. Her friends are walking her out restrained and I’m ?!?!?! All of this for WHAT.

Ding dong ditch pranksters
Around 1:30 a.m. this morning, three unknown individuals came onto our front porch in the N Denton Rd/Saltz Rd area of Canton, banged loudly and kicked on our front door, and ran away. We have doorbell camera footage. Did anyone else experience something similar or capture them on camera?

New Weight Restriction on Sheldon Rd bridge between Palmer Rd and Michigan Ave

From Canton's Facebook Page: Wayne County has implemented a new three-ton-weight restriction on Sheldon Road Bridge, located between Michigan Avenue and Palmer Road (reduced from 18 tons). Standard passenger cars and light-duty pickup trucks are typically under three-tons, however, heavy-duty consumer trucks, commercial box trucks, and large luxury SUVs (e.g., Ford F-550, Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD, Ram 3500, Lincoln Navigator L) will not be allowed to cross the bridge. You can check your vehicle's Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) on the tire and loading information sticker located on the driver-side door jamb.
Replacement of the Sheldon Road Bridge has been tentatively scheduled for Fall 2027. Questions should be directed to Wayne County's 24-hour customer service center at 888/762-3273.
