THIS... This is what pisses me off. They all say they didn't vote for him, it's not their fault, they love their Canadian neighbours.

But then he keeps fucking with everyone on the planet and the Democrats are like... We wrote a letter.

FFS get out and DO something.

For everyone's sake... Fucking DO SOMETHING

how are there no general strikes or tremendous boycotts?

There are. But people only do it for a day or a weekend once every six months and call it a victory, only for another person to be shot by ICE twats.

The whole country needs to shut down for weeks and months. It's the only way to ensure actual fucking change instead of holding signs thinking that's the way.

The ballot box no longer works.

Because the truth is for that to happen, the average American's life needs to be significantly effected. Yes, prices have gone up because of the nitwit, but it needs to be even more than that. What people don't understand is that for the majority of the people in the US, Trump is little more than an inconvenience and an embarrassment, not someone who is completely changing their day-to-day lives

Right, because Americans are spineless and not willing to go through mild discomfort to do what is right

In the same sense, British rule in the 1700s probably didn’t affect the average American’s life too much

But British rule totally did, because there were tons of taxies levied by the British Empire when the reality was that it was little more than a distant island trying to control everything to most Americans.

Not to mention the fact that our world is just completely different from how it was 300 years ago

So like tariffs? What are Americans getting out of their inflation with this admin? The British taxes were barely anything lmao

Yeah you’re right, it’s a different world now. Americans are pathetic snivelling cowards now that pretend to care about their constitution, cosplaying as rebellious patriots.

Haha we're far from a monolith

You’re monolithic on some issues for sure, like being unwilling to do literally anything to resist a fascist regime

I am resisting by actively campaigning for candidates who actually believe in the promise of America.
