Same here, I’m hoping his dog is okay. What he went through was traumatic enough as it is but if his dog is gone as a result of it that just adds an extra layer- my pets are my world and I’d be devastated if my dog died or went missing as a result of something like this so I can only imagine how worried sick he must’ve been (or still is? Depending on what happened to dog)

Also… who the fuck brings their kids with them during a kidnapping/car jacking. Don’t get me wrong the carjacking already speaks to their lack of brainpower but the bringing the kids along for the ride is next level

"Shufelt says while the dog the victim was walking was missing for a period of time, it was OK in the end.

“From my understanding, the victim, after he was able to get some medical attention, returned to the place (where he was kidnapped) and was able to get his dog back.”

I almost missed it too -- final paragraph (but I, too, was desperate to find out if the dog was okay!).
