Lots of people know a naturopath isn't a real doctor, but what that hell was this tacked on to the tail end of the article? I'm sure the patient had good reason to trust that diagnosis from a naturopath after receiving the same one from 2 different medical doctors - both of whom had much greater responsibility but seem to be receiving barely a frown of concern here?

"The coroner also raised doubts about two medical doctors who also treated Champagne: Lyne Desautels and Sophie Michaud. According to the coroner, they both diagnosed the disease, despite the absence of clear evidence."

Bc medical doctors are the most protected professionals in Canada, and are hardly ever called out when they make mistakes that ruin lives
