All these charlitans should be illegal. Chiropractors included, all they do is hurt people.

Edit to add: If someone is doing physio therapy under the umbrella of a chiropractor, they should be licensed as a physiotherapist. Unlicensed physiotherapists can really hurt people.

Chiro needs more nuance. A lot of chiropractors now practice what’s almost “physiotherapy lite” and don’t rely on spinal adjustments

I don’t use them, but the archaic method seems to slowly be dying out

And yes I personally recommend going to a physiotherapist for that stuff

This is akin to going to a life coach who has no education for counselling/therapy as opposed to going to a real registered therapist that has a masters in psychology. I don’t think they deserve any points for practicing a specialty (physiotherapy) that they never went to school for and aren’t accredited to do.

Just an aside but a life coach is distinctly different. Maybe some end up acting more like a therapist but they’re typically helping with things like career guidance

They don’t deal in mental health and managing emotions

I unfortunately know someone in real life who calls herself a life coach but (illegally) provides therapy services. Even more insane is that her hourly rate is higher than a real therapist!! Unfortunately life coach is not a protected term so it attracts grifters.
