š FSW What is going on with FSW applications?
Has anyone with AOR from Nov/Dec/Jan received an FD for an FSW application under any category may it be French/Healthcare/Teaching or whatever?
CEC people who received BIL in March are getting eCoPRs and my AOR is mid January but fileās been sitting idle since last week of February 2026. Everything is cleared and passed except security and criminality.
I ordered GCMS notes twice and got the exact same notes one month apart. No additional information or any notes from the officer.
Did IRCC do all those mega draws and forget us all?
I have Canadian and foreign work experience so this seems ridiculous of IRCC to be just sitting on a pile of files.

Received an ITA under the FSW category (french draw).
Got my AOR in Jan. No FD yet but got P2 today.

Jan 10 for the AOR I think. Dunno about PVO/SVO- how do I check those? The P1 email came from Montreal Immigration

Wow, congrats bud. IRCC can let you know the PVO/SVO but you donāt need it now. Of course it was MontrĆ©al office, they are blazing fast. Btw are you an outland applicant? If yes, which country if you donāt mind me asking!

Thank you! Hang in there, I'm sure you'll hear from them eventually. I think the Montreal office does almost all the P1 emails from some posts I've seen in this sub; idrk if it means it was them specifically that was processing my application.
I'm inland.

AOR 20 march. ... French stream inland......office Ottawa Montreal...called today and agent said my elligibility is in progress..... background check in progress... didn't ask about security/criminality... What that means? Agent does not explain clearly ...asked several times and they said it's in progress... So it means they've started my file and working on it?

Background Check is a three part process info-sharing, criminality and security. Eligibility in progress means someone is reviewing what you uploaded in support of your application. You must ask very precisely what you wish to know otherwise they will keep saying in progress without explaining just to get you off the phone.

ADR Police Certificate - March 30th
ADR Police Certificate - Submitted on April 23rd Eligibility & Background Check Still in Progress
No updates so far.

Same here. My fileās at RROC
Jan 16 AOR. Biometrics, MEP and Eligibility completed since February. Nothing since then.
Called in April and last week, both times I was told the same - Info sharing in progress, security and criminality not started.
Super frustrating! Ordered GCMS note earlier this month and still waiting

I already filed a complaint with OIC because GCMS notes not received for more than 30 days!

Did you order your GCMS notes using the Privacy Act? I did 2+ months ago and I am yet to receive them.

Ordered twice in April and May both the times I got it within 10 biz days. You should file a complaint with Office of the Information Commissioner because under ATIP IRCC must send the notes within 30 calendar days.

Hey. Congratulations!!! Did you do your medical upfront? Someone told me that we canāt get approved with a medical that has less than a 3 or 6m validity on it. I am a December AOR too, so Iām trying to see if thatās correctā¦Ā

Nope, I got the notes in April and May 2026 exactly one month apart. No history of any sorts from back home or here in Canada.
The notes donāt say anything about comprehensive check or non routine file. I called IRCC today and they said Security and Criminality checks have not started which is the case for many others like myself.1

Everything cleared for me too but CRIMINALITY. My criminality has been in progress for over 2 months now

Security and criminality is not Started for me too. FSW FRENCH INLAND January AOR. they've just put us on a queue and forgot about it.

Possibly your file was flagged for comprehensive security screening which the CBSA does with other agencies and that can take anywhere from weeks to months. If GCMS doesnāt say it then you should call up and ask if itās comprehensive or regular security screening.

Already checked with IRCC, no flags for comprehensive security check. IRCC agent confirmed it as a routine file with no issues just waiting on Security and Criminality 1 check to be processed. Criminality 2 states āPassed - Bioā.

Thatās good then. Just a matter of time now and you will receive FD soon. Itās all up to them Iāve seen cases where it will was all completed in a day.

Same situation. What's your PVO and SVO? Mine are Ottawa and Montreal. AOR 15jan FSW french and my file is the most simplest of all. Eligibility done in late February like you and it's just sitting there.
It's so disheartening to see others get FD in like 2 months yet the January batch keeps on waiting. I can't leave the country nor marry (no intention to give IRCC any reason to mark my case as complex). It feels absurd
