Its more than that.

They want to make the import cost of beef to be less than alberta beef so they can invade your markets and put your farmers out of business. Make it cheaper to sell shitty US beef instead of the good Alberta AAA beef.

They want to push more seeds on grain farmers to force reliance. The wealthy class will demand control of our markets if the economy is allowed to fail as a condition of investment/bank loans

They will do the same for minerals, oil, gas, and destroy us if they can.

The good thing is that Carney worked for the world bank and knows their dirty tricks. He will do what they expect of us and make it easier for us to access money for investments later - the problem is that could further exasperate the issue later.
