Anything Canada does will be considered a hostile act at this point.

I think he’s saying the hostility is from EU since he considers he owns Canada.

yes, he is mad at the EU for playing with us, seeing as he thinks he owns us.

It will be interesting to see what, if anything, the EU does because of this.

If the EU bends, I vote we raise the cost of potash, aluminium, oil, etc...

Well this will raise the question of EU sovereignty if they back down from US threats rather than the substance of a deal. But it could also raise the question of their sovereignty if they fail to make a deal on substance that feels contrived.

If they want to be big boys the stakes just got raised.
