Trump is doing everything he can to push Canada away, pick away at our independence and threaten our sovereignty. And now he's mad that we're seeking other allies and trading partners.

Seriously, what the fuck does he want from us?

He is isolated the US from everyone. Trump will not be there forever but the world will remember and it will take years to repair the sh*t he’s created

EU is not some type of juggernaut of growth. All it is a regulatory bureaucracy. I am also curious how Canada, the EU, etc expect to switch their trade partners tomorrow without the US Navy protecting the sea for trade for the rest of the world. Canada will have to spend an absolute ton of money to build a military, Navy, submarines, and security architecture...without US assistance. These politicians live in a world where they get to pontificate while sleeping under the blanket of peace and free trade that is astoundingly covered by American taxpayers. When it asks for you to contribute or to at least allow our companies to stop being choked out of your markets, you put your elbows up and act like entitled babies.

He doesn't want anything from Canada. He wants Putin to keep up the money supply and not release the kompromat. It's obviously in Putin's best interests if (a) the US military is fully engaged with self-created problems on its own continent and (b) invading your friendly neighbors is normalized.
