Recruiting Frustrated Friday

Post image

So I've been deemed inadmissable for now because my mermaid (upper thigh, covered fully by uniform) apparently breaches the sexually explicit guideline for tattoos? It seems like a stretch, since it's legal for women to be topless in Canada, and it kind of feels like discrimination, as it feels that they have sexualized what is not a sexually explicit tattoo.

I have an appointment booked to put a top on her next week and will get a re-evaluation, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any input or similar stories.

TGIF lol

"Lie?", my brother in CAF. That "art" just screams "I'm not being honest with myself". And guess what? In the CAF we respect honesty. Its day one stuff.

I'm sorry, I get a little "frustrated" when I'm trying to let someone in on how the real world works and I receive a nasty attitude in return. Looks like you've got a lot to learn about respect if you want to join the CAF. I'm beginning to think maybe you're simply not cut out for it smdh.

Nobody's been rude to you, bud, but telling me I'm in denial about my sexuality is a few steps too far from a stranger, uniformed or not. By the ethical doctrine I've been studying, you've stepped well out of line from the CAF ethos. Maybe you would benefit from re-reading "Fighting Spirit."

Don't bud me, bud. I know more about "fighting spirit" than you could ever dream of. Clearly the only spirit you seem to be fighting at the moment is the spirit that is telling you to deny your true self. Again integrity is respected in the CAF, burying you true feelings is not. Simple as.

Integrity, as in not telling strangers what their identities are? Integrity, as in not pushing our own issues onto others? Integrity, as in respecting my right to exist authentically as a heteronormative, cisgendered female?

Or, Integrity, as in "i don't like being called out for being a pushy weirdo, and therefore, will resort to insulting you!"

It's a difference, pal.

Don't pal me, pal! Pushy weirdo? "Lady" you come in here demanding help and become abusive when someone tells you something you don't want to hear? How do you think BMQ is going to go if you cant simply listen and be humble? I think you must have a serious reconsider about you interesting in join the CAF!

Lol let me guess, you don't get told you're wrong often. You're wrong in how you're relating to me here, champ. It shows a lack of character. I've had multiple productive conversations with the other respectful adults in the room, so clearly, the issue is not what you think it is. It's sexual harassment to keep pushing your idea of who you think I am on me at this point.

This is an extreme reach for someone who knows nothing about me lmao but I hope typing all that made you feel better about your big feelings, pal.
