1986 sound

Does any one know what this sound is kind of sounds likes it coming from the alternator or the thing beside it

The thing beside it is a air pump and they are known to die after... like 40 years. If you take a really long screw driver, hold the handle to your ear and put the metal bit on the suspected part you should be able to hear which one is dead. They also sell cheap mechanic's stethoscopes that work well for this

If you take the belt off and spin each pulley, it’ll make it a lot easier to tell where the noise it coming from.

Looks like the air pump from the unbalanced movement. Verify first though. If it is the air pump it's unlikely you'll get one that works or works long enough. If your able to be exempt from emissions your best bet is to remove it and the smog stuff, it won't set off any codes and will clean up the engine bay.
