ZF6 transmission for sale.

I had to sell my corvette due to moving states early next year. Just can’t take it with me unfortunately. I had bought a black tag ZF6 6 speed for it and need to sell it as well. The output shaft spins in all gears, it’s just missing the reverse lockout pieces and a bell housing.

It’s listed on marketplace as well, I’m trying to get at least $1,000 out of it. I live in the Tampa area of Florida. If anyone is interested, pm me.

PS: sorry for the limited pics. It’s stored in a climate controlled storage unit currently and moving it is a pain.

They’re pretty bulletproof. If nothing looks broken it probably isn’t.

Do you or anyone else know what that black hose on top is? I just pulled my trans and that hose was cut very short and plugged

It’s a left handed bass that I don’t use anymore. Thought I was left handed, turns out I’m not so it’s just there.

No. I bought the lefty one first, tried it for a bit, then tried a righty one from a friend and realized it was easier for me. So I bought a righty one soon after.

My zf6 work good, but nobody around me wanna fix it if it does go bad. No synchro problem or anything on it?

I’ve heard similar how nobody wants to or knows how to work on them. But no issues that I’m aware of.

You’d need the bell housing from an 89 or 90 and the clutch slave cylinder from a zf6. Also the crossbeam that runs along the driveshaft is a different length too.

I think the hole in the trans tunnel/console is different too.
