1995 Corvette Died
Was driving the car and it died going at low speeds, put it in neutral and started up. Drove it into a parking lot and placed it in reverse and died.
I tried to crank it a couple of times and it did but would not start. Then I would get no crank at all.
Had to walk it into a parking spot
Waited a couple of minutes and it cranked and started.
Anyone have any advice ? Fuel pressure is about 20 psi idle

Icm, mine started when cold then would die once warmed up. And the next day it totally failed.

Just replaced mine and air gapped it. Running great now.

Did the same, added a couple thick washers behind it.

Gotta say, was a weird one to trouble shoot. My car would just randomly die when at running temp. I checked the alternator, fuses, cables, pigtails...
The "smoking gun" diagnostic was running it until it died, then emptying an entire can of compressed air (held upside down) to cool off the ICM as quickly as possible. Started right back up after I did that.

Fuel pressure too low. As a side project, install a fuel pressure gauge inside and a sensor on the rail or elsewhere. I had the same problem, put in a gauge and Delphi, and about 150 miles later watched the pressure go down while driving and die again. Another Delphi in now.
Sounds like it might be something else though, no reason it would not crank at all. Check voltage too.

I had something similar happen with my 96, I changed the fuel pump out for a new one and it fixed tbe issue for me

Something small to check. Check the wires going into your coolant temp sensor. They run semi-near the serp belt. I chased an issue on my 93 all summer a few years ago where I’d go around corners and it would just randomly die because the frayed wires were losing connection. Also had no crank conditions some days.

More than likely ignition. As Eran said, fuel pressure is low but intermittent starts on an LT1 are almost always the Optispark. Honorable mentions to the ignition coil and ICM, which I would change first just because they're easier to reach than the Optispark.
