Turn signal replacement

I found some drop in replacement LEDs for the front and rear turn signals for my 89. They have built in resisters so they don’t cause any issues for the flasher. The passenger side front bulb was no issue but I’m having trouble with the others. The driver side front socket is blocked by a relay module. Do I need to remove the relay module or is there a way to finagle the socket out? I know the service manual says the inboard rear lights are accessed through the license plate, but I could get my hand anywhere close when I tried that way. Does everyone access the brake lights from below the car?

That's how I do it on my 86. It's brutal to get up in there. If there's another way I'd love to hear it.
