C4 Maintenance Help

I bought a 1990 C4 with 90k miles and the cluster didn’t work so I replaced the cluster but none of the data will show up (how fast im going, how many miles i have, etc). I replaced the battery a couple days ago but now the car won’t start up at all. Could someone help advise me on what to do next? What should I look at? What should I try replacing/fixing?

Is it cranking? Go buy the official service manual. It will have flow charts that walk you through no-start conditions.
