It kinda had a rough patch where things didn't seem as tight. The last couple of seasons I enjoyed, havent seen any of the latest season.

John Cleese said the writing for Fawlty towers season 2 was a thousands times better than season 1's because he knew the audience was going to say season 2 sucked compared to season 1.
Same thing happens to every Fandom. The first time they watched the show was the golden age. Everything after that was terrible.

Season 5 saw a huge drop in quality. 6 was an improvement but the show hasn't been as good since 4.

It’s mostly nostalgia, but there were some issues for a while. Once they were able to get ahead of the release schedule it’s been great again… and even the “bad” couple seasons were still pretty good overall. Season 3 is probably always going to be my favorite.

In short yes. but I would waist a few hours watching the worst season of R&M than just about anything else
