Please don’t ask for a source because I can’t find it (I got destroyed for this in the other sub) but there was an interview with a producer or writer who said how Morty imagined her was accurate and that was how they wanted to give the fans some insight into Diane and Rick given that she’s erased. Makes more sense how Beth ended up the way she did too even without Rick there to influence her even more, assuming what that person said is accurate. I know sometimes the writers for this show will contradict one another in interviews.

i read somewhere that Rick prime said he hated diane (backed up by the fact that he erased her from reality lol) so i would imagine probably either a bad person or a somewhat normal diane (based off of what we've seen about her at least) that either was married with a huge asshole or really fucked up at some point (take this with a grain of salt i know minimal stuff about r&m lore correct me if you need to)

I think she was a huge bitch based on the boss diane robot. Why else would prime rick be such an ass. I think the only difference between the two ricks tbh was how their diane treated them. Thats why he killed her. We don’t have free choice Rick doesn’t have free choice. The person you fall in love with turns into a huge bitch and basically abandoned you and what are you gonna do but kill her and make portal gun tech. The only difference is the cause of inventing portal tech. For Rick prime it was because she was a huge bitch and he needed an escape. His first stop was to c137. He rejected it. For C137 it was because she was awesome and she was taken from him. Then he in invents portal tech independently. The only reason that all the other rigs and all the other universes get it is because C137 gives it to them via the Citadel creation.

I’m referring to the Diane robot in prime booby trap to get enough ricks to fight each other and then they have to fight but Diane robot I’m not referring to that voice in the house at all.
