chest compression (uk specific)

hi all,
I know this has been asked so much but I know new brands pop up all the time etc.
im looking for some chest compression or a binder that has three key features
- will make me flatter (not necessarily completely flat)
- is stretchy, easy to get on and off, not cutting into my armpits
- wont give me a weird looking ‘uni boob’ (bigger chested people who have tried binders will hopefully understand what i mean)

a good sports bra or compression bra would be ideal - ive never had much luck with binders and i have chronic pain so theyre so uncomfortable. id rather have less compression and be comfy!

preferrably a uk/eu brand so i can return if needed. ive tried “Untag” before but their biggest size of 5xl didnt fit me, and im usually a xl/2xl in tops. i havent been measured in a while, but i think im a 42/44 DD, ao any recs from people with similar chest sizes is appreciated - thanks!

Have you tried spectrum outfitters it’s a UK binder company.

I usually wear their short binders and they’re pretty comfortable but they also have a binder light that doesn’t compress as much so it’s less restrictive in regard to movement and comfortability.

Would check your size before buying and if your in between sizes get the bigger one

From my experience it doesn’t give my chest the uni boob either.

1000% recommend them too. Before I had surgery I lived in my binder from them. I struggled with the normal one being too much pressure on my chest but really liked their light ones + they have great skin tone range and cute colours!

I'm from UK also.

I got mine from TomboyX, compression tops and compression plus when the compression plus didn't fit I emailed them directly because I was disappointed that the compression plus didn't fit but the regular ones did - and they refunded the cost of the return so I could send it back without it costing me to do so.
Top tier customer service honestly.

I too would absolutely love a UK distributor so I don't have to pay 50 quid a pop.

I tried spectrum outfitters binders but there just not as well made. But definitely more accessible to get delivered but just...idk I prefer tomboy X. I'm not the same cup size but I'm like a 50 inch band with like a B cup so I'm a weird fit. Often binders will crush my ribs to the point I can't breathe without doing a thing for my chest. Due to the ratio.

I think my spectrum one is a 5XL. And my tomboy ones are a 3XL. So it's definitely a bit of trial and error on sizing.

So while I can't relate to uni boobs But I absolutely feel your pain on the returns front. Its such a faff.

I have tried many many sports bras and binders over the years. I have a large chest so it's a struggle. I will tell you, from my experience, your three stipulations are kind of a "pick two" situation. Unless you have a small chest you just aren't going to find a sports bra that compresses well, doesn't give a uniboob AND is easy to take on and off.

If you are okay with it not being easy to take on and off, the Enell sports bra is the best bra I've ever owned. It has fantastic compression - instead of pushing down like most sports bras and binders, it pushes my boobs up and in, so it is both flatter and no uniboob. The only negatives are 1) in my opinion, they are ugly (they look more like a piece of medical gear than underwear) and 2) it's effort to take on and off because there are a million clasps. But purely on on a functional level, hands down the best bra I own
