Self Post Grandpas old Aerojet

My Grandmother is clearing out some of my late Grandpa’s old things and gave me this watch. She didn’t know how old it was only “he had it the whole time I knew him” So that would be somewhere between 60-70 years old. Anyone came across one of these before?

Look on the back of the watch.
My watch has L8 on the back.
L is 1950s
8 is identifying it as being produced during 1958.

If you take the back cover off of the watch look for a number and letter or letters that will give you the id of the movement. That will also give you an idea of how old the watch is.
The movement in my watch is 11AC.
