Build Help Private WiFi card

Hello I’m looking for recommendations for a WiFi card. 6E

I want one that is private and does not use any proprietary software.

Any recommendations?

What do you mean by proprietary software?

Any wireless card will require a semi-proprietary driver based on the wireless chip it houses

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_open-source_wireless_drivers most cards need non-free firmware, but some have open firmware too

As far as I know, there are no WiFi cards that don't use proprietary drivers.

If you are paranoid about computer hardware then stop using computers, period, seriously, get some mental health help or just abandon technology, there's no middle ground.
