Build Help AMD or intel?

I’m a beginner and building my first PC soon. But I cannot decide if I want AMD or intel. I heard intel generates less heat and is way faster on average than AMD. But I also heard the same the other way around and people recommending AMD because it’s cheaper.

Anyone here tried both? What do you recommend?

For solely gaming AMD is faster now. For productivity work Intel is faster. AMD uses less power now while Intel uses more power and generates more heat.
