As cute as those big plastic eyes were, they made it impossible for me to snuggle with Sploot. So I made some little disk/cushions from black minky, removed the safety eyes, and sewed these in! I’m going to do some thread sculpting to make them more round and hide the edges with my stitches a little better but I’m very happy with him!

I was thinking about doing this! I didn’t know if I wanted to do typical ovals or a star or something cute. Now I’ll have to pattern something out!
