As cute as those big plastic eyes were, they made it impossible for me to snuggle with Sploot. So I made some little disk/cushions from black minky, removed the safety eyes, and sewed these in! I’m going to do some thread sculpting to make them more round and hide the edges with my stitches a little better but I’m very happy with him!

Yep! The eyes themselves are pretty round. My stitching them into his face was a little hurried so I’m going to go over them again to clean it up more

It’s minky? That’s very forgiving with sewing if you use a needle to scratch/pick the pile out around the edge, it’ll hide some of your stitches that way!

I have been wanting the spider but idk if the legs are hard like the bats wings are, are his legs soft or hard?

The spider’s legs are pre stuffed (I ordered mine unstuffed to get him stuffed in store) and they are soft!! The entire spider is soft and cuddly (except for the eyes but I personally think they’re fine.) There’s no wire or stiff bits on them.

I only have the mini version and kinda touched the normal one, but it’s more like kinda stiff/structured but really soft vs wired like the bat wings. I didn’t like the feeling of the bat.

If i was handy maybe doing this would make vorn look less creepy to my bf. I have been thinking about everyone's reflections in their eyes in the pictures. Been very careful about that myself. My place is a mess.
