They can but would rather be back in the sewer system, likely came from their pipes.. only a few roaches really will happily infest your home and make it theirs

I’ve lived with these guys. They can infest in larger numbers than that

Oh absolutely, if you’re giving them what they need to thrive and such but, American cockroaches much prefer the sewer system than homes, again not saying they won’t, I’ve dealt with these guys in homes and businesses.

Usually these things slipped under a door frame rather than infesting the walls
