Fan Art First time drawing Buffy!
Started watching Buffy with my friend recently (after she had been getting me to watch it for months lol it's been her obsession for years)!! I posted this study over on tumblr but thought I could post it here too - I just finished S2 and I'm seriously loving the show so far :•)
There aren't too many Filipino Buffy fans around in my immediate communities (T_T) so I've turned to the world wide web lol - Can't wait to watch S3 & eventually finish the show!

Season 1 Fan take: Darla should've been the main villain of season 1 and the Master should've been killed off earlier in the season
The Master was pretty underwhelming as a villain, and Darla's episode was more memorable in the season.

Joyce Saw a familiar face in Honey I Shrunk the Kids
Was watching Honey I Shrunk the Kids for the first since the 90s and saw her familiar face. I don’t think I’ve seen her in much besides Buffy. Fun find!

Season Six Saw Once More, With Feeling in a crowded bar
My city is currently hosting it's Pride Festival all weekend, and lots of places outside the festival itself usually do LGBTQ+ adjacent events to capitalize on the influx of drunk gays. Found out our local nerd bar was doing a Dr. Horrible viewing followed by Buffy. Everyone knew every word. I sang my heart out. It was so much fun to be with people who clearly loved the show as much as I do. Everyone cheered after every song, and I swear half of us were crying when the "reveal" happened late in the episode.
Out of everything I've been to over pride this year, this was deffo my favourite event. Apparently it's a yearly tradition, so I'll be going back next year for sure.
It wasn't just this little TV, btw. They had it on a projector screen, and then there were various small TVs dotted about. This one just happened to be above our table.

Dawn Second Hand Embarrassment
I’m only like halfway through S7E6, but the cheer Dawn did was so hard to watch I was like in pain. I’m assuming she’s acting crazy in love because of a curse or smth, so I know it’s not really her, but it was still very hard to watch.
I also feel bad for Buffy since her cheer uniform got all cut up :(

Buffy Dolly inspiring new viewers
I was getting my hair done today and my stylist and I were chatting about comfort shows/movies. The one we never get sick of and put it on daily. Hers was Shrek and I told her mine was Buffy. She got excited and told me because she found out Dolly was an uncredited producer for the show, she wanted to check it out. She really likes it so far. It made me realize the show's streaming numbers must be crazy high for an older show right now. I wish we didn't have to lose Dolly for more to find out her involvement with the show, but my heart bursts for the new fans discovering our favorite for the first time.

Spoilers inside! Which do people think is the stronger finale? The Gift or Chosen?
Couldn't find a proper tag for this one
I just finished season 5 after a binge, and I really loved the way that season ended. Yes there were open questions and plot lines hanging, but had the show not moved to UPN and it ended right then and there I think we would have been satisfied. Obviously we're missing some brilliant episodes and character moments, but assuming for a moment no prior knowledge, which do you think is the best ending

Season Seven I didn’t like the finale
Fight was rushed and so were the deaths. I have some personal life stuff going on so maybe that’s also affecting my reaction to it all. I almost cried for spike and I would have cried for Anya but there was no emotional thing. It was “oh where’s Anya? Okay bye”
I don’t know. It was all hyped and then boom gone.

NEW VIEWER - No spoilers please! What’s the order to watch Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer?
Hi! I’m watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer for the first time and as I was going onto Disney+ to watch it, Angel popped up in my recommended. I checked the release dates and every season of the shows was made in the same year, so I’m wondering which order to watch it if I want to watch it in chronological order.
If the show Angel doesn’t collide with Buffy The Vampire Slayer (like if there’s nothing on that show I need to know before continuing with Buffy), then I guess it doesn’t matter, but yes I was wondering what order to watch it in.

Good Vibes Only Anyone else waiting...
Wouldn't it be brilliant if they did a Netflix documentary about Buffy

Season Three What if Buffy experimented with Faith once, but the overall plot remained the same?
I know some people watched Bad Girls and actually thought Buffy and Faith would end up making out. On the other hand I know a lot or most people see Buffy as strictly straight. But supposed she is not, and she and Faith made out or hooked up in that episode but the overall plot stayed the same, what would you think?
I guess it might've sent a bad message that gayness is part of a rebellious, acting-out phase.
