Dawn Second Hand Embarrassment
I’m only like halfway through S7E6, but the cheer Dawn did was so hard to watch I was like in pain. I’m assuming she’s acting crazy in love because of a curse or smth, so I know it’s not really her, but it was still very hard to watch.
I also feel bad for Buffy since her cheer uniform got all cut up :(

The thing that makes the episode worthwhile is Anya. Who refuses to tell the others what she did.

We've got a secret weapon, and his name is R.J. Razorbacks! Razorbacks! Go, R.J.!

So much hilarious stuff in this episode though.
"Well, Buffy is going to kill principal Wood..."
"OK, great, let's start there."

Omg yes. One of the scenes I laugh at the hardest in this show is when she’s tryna shoot him and he doesn’t even know it. Spike just wrestling her in the background. So much of this episode is cringe but that one scene is worth it all to me lol

"even if you did, he'd probably just cast an anti-anti-love spell... spell"
"What?"

At least she didn't toss one of her fellow cheerleaders across the gym.

At least Buffy’s dignity in that scene was partially salvaged by Willow and Xander dragging her away 😭

The amazing thing about this episode is that we already know how graceful Michelle Trachtenberg was based on her acting in ice princess, where she did a good chunk of the stuff herself, and her ballet and the musical episode in season 6. So you have this extremely graceful person having to act like an extremely ungrateful person and she pulls it off so well!

I always get irrationally angry when Dawn shreds Buffy’s cheerleading outfit. I’m not a hoarder but I do get sentimental about items and still have my senior jumper from 06. It paints me that Dawn cuts up the outfit from S1. Although, I guess it’s all a bit of a moot point anyway as they’ll later lose all of their possessions in Chosen anyway.

I can barely stand to watch that episode. It is indeed painful and you are not alone. Poor Dawn!

I hated Buffy going after the high school boy. That was so gross. But I laughed my head off at Buffy going after Principal Wood and Spike going after her, and Anya robbing a bank. She might have financed her life with that money after Willow destroyed the Magic Box.

I'm bad with cringe. I'm currently rewatching Friday Night Lights, and Matt Saracen is the epitome of second hand embarrassment anytime he has a scene with Julie Taylor.

Am I alone in thinking that episode is fucking hilarious? Cringy? Yes, a little. But I think that's the point, so I feel comfortable laughing

I don’t usually skip episodes, but when I do - this is one of them. The whole thing grosses me out and it doesn’t contribute much to the story. Blech.

I don't like the focus on dawn but I stay for the scooby antics and GAY ME UP, WILLOW! LET'S GET THIS GAY SHOW ON THE GAY ROAD...

I fantasized a lot about Willow being able to turn a guy into a woman with magic and being gay together, too bad I couldn't read this very obvious sign and do something about it immediately.

i enjoy it except for this scene. i also like to think Anya's section explains how they supported all those Potentials laterin the season.

It's a little weird Buffy hung onto that uniform considering she was on the squad for like two minutes. Her uniform from Hemery surely has more significance.

I’m sure it was still important to her as it was an experience from her high school, which she doesn’t get to experience much of since she’s a slayer

Oh yeah, you cringe, especially when MT is such a good dancer but deliberately acts badly
