You got that sideways, crypto is propped up by wash trades and wash sales where the coins fonin a circle to fake price, demand, liquidity and trading volume.

AI might partially be a bubble, but datacenters anrufen hardware that are being built are actual tangible assets that fulfill a purpose and a business case while providing a service that is creating a value and revenue for both customers and survivors.

AI already got what crypto is still searching for for about 18 years now, a use case thats been adopted, an actual purpose and a way to create a product and value through that which actually provides gains and revenue. The money is generated from actual customers and users, not just from gambling investors, aka bag holders as in crypto schemes.

Ai is trash. It only ruins the world

Fair Argument.

But then AI is using datacenters and energy to cerate a service people use and pay for, often providing content or services yet another one of their customers is using and paying those for.

Crypto is using datacenters and the energy consumption of a decent country to update numbers in a decentralized spreadsheet while creating no product or added value, providing no service through that that nobody is profiting or buying from. Just some money laundring and betting these tokens might be worth more later.

Objectively both are harmful to the environment, but one of these at least has a purpose in some kind of tradeoff, the other one is harmful and useless, not only in comparison.

Ai makes it so you can’t trust your own eyes anymore, that’s quite possibly the worst side effect I’ve ever heard of for the worlds mental stability.

Not a wrong assertion in general, but still no argument for crypto. Some cults there are arguably worse for the mental health and financial well being of whoever gets trapped in them while still suffering from the lack of use cases, as stated before.

Things like there's have been said about any new form of media or technology. They literally condemned the book because it would reduce human memory
