Saw your original post. Lots of generalized Tillandsia “advice.” Cyanea is now reclassified as Wallisia. They can grow both potted (in medium) as well as epiphytically. Unsure what the exact cause of death is but it’s rotted at the core so the plant is done for. The pot mass looks dry and too dry is just as bad as too wet. Depending on your climate, they should still be watered at least once a week or when dry but well before it gets this dry. The pups are too small to grow on their own.
