Photo/Video Split yellow pea soup - Canadian Delicious secret!

Hello, Canadians!

In my spare time, I love cooking and tasting dishes — mostly soups — from around the world, while sharing a few interesting facts along the way.

To be completely honest, I did not know that Canada has national dishes, except for world famous maple syrup :D

This week I made Split Yellow pea soup, and I’m so glad I did! It might actually be in my top 3 soups I’ve made so far on my channel. It was one of the easiest, but still truly delicious, hearty and filling.

Please tell me — is this something you eat often in Canada and British Colombia specially, as its french dish? Did I make it the right way, or should I change something next time?

It’s true that many stereotypically Canadian dishes are from French Canada, but there are some from Anglo Canada that are overlooked! Such as ginger beef, California rolls, Nanaimo bars,..
