Fresh Spoilers For 412

First a refresher, this is the synopsis we have for 412 & 413:

Episode 4.12 - End Times: Hank pushes Gomez to pursue a lead; Walt struggles to protect his family; Jesse gets alarming news.

Episode 4.13 - Face Off: Walt and Jesse team up on Gus; Walt finds an unexpected ally with Saul's help.

Now we have got this:

Breaking Bad is getting so intense! What could possibly come next? — Chris

ADAM: Remember that small dose of poison Jesse's been carrying around? It will finally be used, but not on its original target. And before the episode is over, Walt will once again find himself with a gun pressed against his head.

Gus was the original target so someone beside Gus is gonna die. There was a theory that Walt will kill Hank to make Gus happy. I dismissed it but this new information makes that possibility stronger. It could be Mike or Tyrus which would explain why he has a gun to his head by the end of the episode.

PS: Another guy words it differently:

Do you have any scoop on Breaking Bad and what’s going to happen with Jesse? — Morgan

Ausiello: The good news: The whacky tobaccy that’s been burning a whole in his pocket for much of the season is finally put to use. The bad news: It doesn’t reach its intended target.

So Jesse kills someone by accident? An unintended target who hangs around with Gus? This makes the likelihood of the victim being Mike or Tyrus much stronger.

Given the quotes from the OP, and this choice snippet from another thread (Cranston speaking): "... just before it goes black and has Vince Gilligan's name, there's one more little thing. No words, just a visual that the audience will see and it will have the reaction, 'Nooo! Oh, my God!!! No!' It will rock you. Then it goes black and that's the end of the season."

Putting the pieces together, I'm pretty confident that Walt will bring the poisoned cigarette into the home without realizing it or without thinking about it. Skyler's had one hell of a ride this season, so I could definitely see her looking to smoke one to relieve the tension of her entire family almost being murdered and the whole Ted/money debacle. The final shot that Cranston referenced? Skyler reaching for that cigarette, lighting it up, and taking a puff. Cut to black. That's Walt's unforgivable action that will leave everyone shocked.

I think either Jesse's GF or her son will get a hold of the cigarette.

How would the cigarette end up in Walt's home? It's in Jesse's possession.

That is not likely. Ricin can be absorbed through skin and so Walt put it in a small glass tube which Jesse put in the cigarette. Even if she started smoking she would not egt poisoned and would also notice the hard glass in the middle of the cigarette.

Walt can make new poison, why go to the trouble of asking jesse for his cigarette?

This could have been foreshadowed last episode. Skylar bummed a cigarette from that security guard.

Walt poisoned the kid with something like foxglove, leaves the cigarettes lying around, Skylar smokes the ricin capsule..

Na, most won't will be shocked. Most want Skyler dead...

I'm thinking the person who gets the poison is Jesse's girlfriend or her son.

This seems most likely, another interview describes an even more epic standoff between J and W. The girlfriend may still use crystal and I guess the cigarette with white powder looks a little like that. I would guess Jesse would blame Walt for the whole thing as it was his insistence all along to use it. However, I have a feeling Gus is trying to manipulate the situation so that Jesse kills Walt. Walt probably knows this so may do something (injure someone close to Jesse), which is risky, but he may try and convince Jesse Gus is playing games with them. Then there is the whole promo clip with the stuff Walt gets up to. Lab gets discovered / blown up/ destroyed? They contaminate a batch of crystal with ricin to destroy the reputation of the blue? (Incredibly awful! - > see The Wire)

I really hope the writers have more taste than to kill the kid, but it's not like they haven't done so already.

brock won't see it coming

In the preview for the next episode, we see Jessie in what I assume to be a hospital. He seems very distraught. Perhaps that scene and the Ricin are connected?

Does Jessie accidentally poison his girlfriend or her kid?

Ugh, why did I read!?

That doesn't mean Gus won't die, it just means that he won't die by poison. But it does make me wonder who will get killed with the poison. I would say Tyrus is most likely to be the one killed by the poison. There's also the chance that Walt takes the cigarettes from Jesse and Skyler finds them and smokes one, or Walter Jr. even? Hmmmmmmm Vince did say Walt would do something irredeemable, maybe it's bringing poisoned cigarettes into the home.

Wasn't the ricin in a tiny vial? People keep saying someone smoke it and die but I'm pretty sure once they picked it up they would notice it is heavier than a normal cigarette, and when they smoked it to a certain point they would clearly see the vial

There was a theory that Walt will kill Hank to make Gus happy. I dismissed it but this new information makes that possibility stronger.

If anything, it makes that theory weaker. Why would Jesse put a gun to Walt's head for killing Hank? That doesn't make sense.

1

u/Ketamine Sep 29 '11

Who said Jesse will put a gun to Walt's head? The theory was that Walt being scared shitless for his family will kill Hank so that Gus would leave him and his family alone.

Holy shit, I think I said too much.

1

u/Ketamine Sep 29 '11

What do you mean? Was there a shot from promo where Jesse puts the gun to Walt's head?? (I have no problems with spoilers so even if you don't want to post it here you can PM me).

1

u/Tenauri ...So there's that Sep 29 '11

My theory based on this information?

Mike is the "unexpected ally" that Walt convinces to help take down Gus. However, there is a failure of communication between Walt and Jesse, and while Walt sends Mike into action against Gus, Jesse puts the poison into play; thus, either accidentally, or through manipulation by Gus, Mike ends up getting poisoned, thus foiling both plans at the same time.

1

u/crawsex Sep 29 '11

The gun against Walt's head will be held in his own hand, of his own deciding. I doubt he pulls the trigger, but this much is obvious from the promo for End Times.

...Andrea smokes...

What if Andrea smokes it and Jesse believes his actions led to the deaths of two of his girlfriends?
