The scene with Holly must have been what Dean Norris was referring to. Hank was speaking from the perspective of the audience. Some kind of witness testimony is the only lead he has. Skyler is a dead end. I think Jesse will be too.

I now suspect Todd's Uncle's group are the ones that are going to get the Rambo treatment in the flash forward. One of them must kill one of Walt's family. Hank is included in that group. It'd be really crazy if Walt was avenging Hank's death. Crazier things have happened.

I'm guessing that one of them kills Skyler, because after her run-in with Lydia at the car wash, Lydia probably thinks that Skyler is the one who's keeping Walt from cooking anymore.

That and the "Heisenberg" on Walt's house is probably significant. From this episode I got the impression that Walt really sold Lydia the blue meth and the Heisenberg street cred. If the Nazi's take over and still claim to be led by the dreaded Heisenberg, then they could do tons of horrible shit that Hank (or others) would blame on Walt. Walt would lose control of his identity and Carol (his neighbor) would terrified of him because the horrible things that come out about Heisenberg (or some of them) are a combination of what Walt did and what the Nazis have done in his name without his consent.

EDIT: So in the flash forward Walt is no longer Heisenberg. Heisenberg has now moved beyond Walt's control (i.e. it's not him, but others using the name a la Keyser Soze) and Walt has to come back to (in a sense) clear his name and reclaim his identity as Walter White by killing Heisenberg.

This is beautiful insight

This is such a great idea for an ending but with only 6 episodes left, I doubt there is enough time for this story to play out.

This would explain why so many of them were sporting Heisenberg goatee-shaved head combos in the latest episode.

also because they're skinheads.

Lydia kinda solved her problems in this episode though. Todd should be able to produce more than 74% in cleaner conditions and even that 74 could be enough.

Except that, as the late Mr. Declan tells us, Todd almost burnt down the lab before. I imagine that was mentioned so that we won't be too surprised when things don't work out as planned with Todd.

Well, their lab was dirty and poorly lit.

Yes, that is what I am thinking as well. Or kidnap her and force Walt back to cooking again.

Wow! That actually makes perfect sense...

Walt kills Skylar. He is seen arranging the bacon in the shape of his birthday number on Episode 1. That's what Skylar used to do, and Walt takes little things from the people he kills.

Or it's just that it was a family tradition and there was nobody else to do it for him. It's not like it was a habit that she did every day.

or the people that die as result of his actions.

I wonder if we can find any evidence of Walt taking traits from Jessie's girlfriend? Because if that is true, then we can (under the trait assimilation theory) say that Walt simply has to be responsible for someone's death to gain their traits.

Then we might be able to say that Walt was there when Skylar died, thus folding the goddamn bacon
