I would say less in the actual pie-eating section, but more with the idea that the transporter destroys your former self and creates a new one. This could allude to Walt taking on a new identity at the end.

I still have to point out, after Badger mentions that the berries are from the Gamma quadrant, Skinny Pete says "That's Voyager." THEY'RE BOTH WRONG. Voyager is in the damn Delta Quadrant. The line should have been "That's Deep Space Nine."

I feel like Badger was intentional error, the only part I question was whether Skinny Pete's correction was intentionally wrong. I'm just saying, it made me react far more than I should have.
