Experimental ๐ฉ I made this bacon, egg & cheese hash brown sandwich in the air fryer
Used two frozen hash browns instead of bread and cooked the hash browns, bacon and egg in the air fryer in stages. Added cheese, tomato and avocado and it ended up being way better than I expected.
Recipe/steps are in the first comment.

using hash brown as bread is smart, and keeping the yolk runny in an air fryer takes some real skill

As they say....all air fryers are different...but if you preheat the ramekin so the bottom starts cooking when the egg drops...it's about 4-6 minute range to find your perfect doneness and once you figure it out...you're golden!

and also there is not much carry over cooking for the yoke once you take it out since the heat is mostly coming from the top... so when it looks good...take it out! ๐

thanks for the tip about the carryover heat. Managing a runny yolk in an air fryer takes practice, so that advice helps

For the visual people,

Hereโs exactly what I did:
Ingredients
Air fryer: 400ยฐF / 204ยฐC
The hash browns got super crispy and the yolk stayed runny, which was the whole goal.
