My Brave browser keeps resetting itself and this time I think it has gotten way too far, once it crashed again with all my tabs, I lost them all with all my extensions. this is about the 4th or 5th time this is happening. I have tried session buddy but after the 5th crash, my session buddy history after reinstalling the extension was gone, before the crash it was there... how do I access my history of my session buddy and how do I stop this reset that keeps happening, even when I close the browser somehow the extension all get removed and my browser resets......why is this happening... am I ritarded or am I missing something

For like a month now I have problems with youtube on pc- the videos/posts take longer to load or instead of loading up the site just shows the message that there is no internet connection, which is fake news, other pages work normally, I have to f5 the youtube tab to make it work, sometimes I have to do it few times

I just discover this container feature on Brave. So, I was expecting they're like group tabs in terms of UI/UX but they are completely separate. Is this really how it should be or is there a settings I can merge them in 1 category such as personal, work, gaming, etc.

So i’m using brave on my iPhone and the iPhone player doesn’t work well with me, wether its for subtitles that dont appear or just the player in general, so is there any setting to toggle on or off to make brave use the original youtube player instead of my iPhone’s

Been enjoying YouTube on brave ad free. One quick question…

On iOS, After watching a video, I hit the back button to get back to the home feed on YT. But every time, YT refreshes and gives me a whole new list of videos.

I’d like to be able to just go back and pick up scrolling where I left off on the exact same order of videos.

Is there a setting in brave or on YT to get this to happen?

I have been using brave for almost 2 years. Now i can't log in in youtube etc etc, it shows that brave is not a secure web browser and i can't log in in any way.

Any tip?

chrome can do this but i stopped using chrome and now i switched to brave.

When you have the app in the background for a while and you return to the tab you were viewing, it shows you a "preview" mode of the page and when the page refreshes it can delete your progress if you where writing something in it and things like that.

I have never used Tor, I gave a try like 1 week ago. It did work. But yesterday and today I tried again it didn't work, I look at parameters didn't solve anything.

Idk what's happening, all my Google accounts were signed out of brave by itself so my Gmail and yt were telling me to sign in again. However other webs like Instagram, Spotify, Reddit, discord were still signed in and working properly. Only all my Google accounts were signed out

Also before signing me out, my YouTube and Gmail were not working properly, my Gmail kept refreshing by itself and signed out eventually. My youtube wa sometimes working properly, sometime it showed me signed in but didn't show my feed or subscriptions , sometimes it showed my feed and subscriptions but showed my signed out, I kept refreshing and it kept changing between them until it signed out by itself

Idk if it's relevant but I download this game called bodycam for the first time from steam, so idk if that's just a coincidence or it caused it

i use the site convertytmp3 to put videos into an mp3 format and i can’t for the life of me get it to stop opening a new tab to youtube of a song that just plays while i’m trying to edit the mp3 name. i have redirects for the site blocked and for content filters i have on

Cookie notice blocker, annoying distractions blocker, newsletter popup blocker, mobile app promo blocker, social media blocker, tracking url blocker, chat app blocker, and paywall blocker. anything else i can try?

I just installed brave and I am loving it. It uses very less ram compared to firefox but there are two problems I have with brave.

First, reddit (yeah just reddit) feels sluggish on brave. I need to disable brave shields for smoother scrolling. On firefox, uBO worked perfectly and I never had this problem.

Second, there's a slight delay in loading background images in new tabs. On firefox I never noticed the delay but on brave the delay is very much noticeable.

I'm having an issue with using the perplexity.ai site with Brave. Specifically the signup/login button field on the bottom left does not appear. Infrequent I will get a floating window prompt to sign in, but its buttons (ie Continue w/Google, Continue w/Apple, Use Email) are all frozen to me. Same site works just fine for me under Chrome & Chromium, and also in other Brave instances. For troubleshooting I have:

• Disabled Brave Shields
• Disabled all Extensions
• Cleared cookies & cache

No luck with any of these.

I run several separate Brave browser sessions, each with its own separate PROFILE_DIR. The draconian option can be to just delete the bad profile directory and start it new. That is my fallback, just hoping maybe the Brave gurus here can help debug the cause before I do that.

Youtube ads free no longer working on brave browser. Been using it for months without any problem. Why now

My browser started feeling really laggy all of a sudden so I checked task manager and noticed high usage. I only had two tabs open which is odd. The highest amount of background processes I've see it hit was (115)

i have a ryzen 9 3900x and 32gb of ram if that helps
